    MIXED FARMING COMMERCIAL

    • Ross 308

      The Ross 308 is recognized globally as a broiler that will give consistent performance in the broiler house. Integrated and independent producers value the growth rate, feed efficiency and robust performance of the Ross 308. The Ross 308 is available as a fast or slow-feathering bird.
      These breeds have a broad chest, wide feet and an avid appetite which enables them to grow rapidly. They are also popular with home poultry keepers. Every one to two years new batches of fertile eggs are imported and hatched to produce a parent flock. This flock produces chickens for meat production.

    • Kuroiler

      The Kuroiler is a hybrid breed of chicken developed by the Keggfarms Group in Gurgaon, Haryana. Kuroilers are derived from crossing either coloured broiler males with Rhode Island Red females, or, White Leghorn males crossed with female Rhode Island Reds. Kuroilers, a dual-purpose breed producing meat and eggs, can live on a diet of kitchen and agricultural waste, and produce around 150 eggs per year whereas native Indian hens lay only 40 per year. The meat yield per bird of Kuroilers is also greater; males weigh approximately 3.5 kg (7.7 lb) and females about 2.5 kg (5.5 lb) whereas the native male bird weighs 2.5 kg (5.5 lb) and females 1.2 kg (2.6 lb). Due to its unique genetic features, the Kuroiler is resistant to diseases. The kuroiler chick is a potential bio-converter of no cost agricultural, household and natural waste abundant in villages — into human protein food and substantial incomes for rural households

    • Golden Comet

      Golden Comets are a Modern day egg laying strain of chicken. The Golden Comet chicken is one of the more recent hybrid chickens that has been bred for great egg production. It was initially ‘made’ for the commercial industry, but it has successfully transitioned into small farms and backyards worldwide and is possibly the most widely kept hybrid hen.They are a cross between a Rhode Island Red and White Leghorn chicken. The hybrid vigor gives them the best traits of both breeds. Like leghorns they start laying earlier than any other breed and are prolific layers.

    • Isa Browns

      The world best brown egg layer! Over 60% of eggs produced worldwide are Isa Brown’s. Able to produce over 320 eggs/year. The Isa Brown is a hybrid breed designed for very high egg production. They lay a large to extra large brown egg and are very hardy. Consistent and dependable eggshell strength and egg size, they are sure to meet your egg needs!

    • Lohmann Brown

      The Lohmann Brown is a variety of chicken, raised specifically for egg-laying productivity. It is of crossbreed origin, selectively bred from lines of Rhode Island breed and White Rock breeds. They start to lay at about 19 weeks, producing up to 320 eggs to an age of 72 weeks (one year production). Eggs are laid nearly daily, normally during the morning time.

      Most Lohmann Browns have a caramel/brown shade of feathers, with white feathers in a pattern round their necks, and white feathers at the tips of their tail feathers

      Our White Rock pullets are outstanding for egg production the entire year, and are especially desirable through the cold winter months when lighter breeds slack off. They lay a brown egg of fine quality and size. The rapid growth, white, easy-to- dress feathers, and golden yellow skin of the cockerels of our strain make them equally desirable. Raise some for the frying pan or roaster. They are compact and well fleshed at almost any age. They are all big birds, hens reaching 6 to 7 lbs. and cocks 8 to 9 lbs. A flock of these pure white birds ranging busily over a grassy field is one of the prettiest sights you will ever see. Baby chicks are a creamy white and may show a touch of gray smokiness.
